Who We Are

PEYMO is a technology platform that provides the infrastructure that enables account and card services through partnerships with regulated financial institutions.

We are not a bank, electronic money institution, or payment institution. PEYMO does not hold deposits, issue accounts, execute payments, or provide financial advice directly. These regulated financial services are provided exclusively by our licensed financial partners who hold the necessary authorisations and bear regulatory responsibility.
Our role is focused on technology: building and maintaining the platform, interfaces, and tools that make account and payment services accessible, transparent, and operationally efficient.

What We Do

PEYMO delivers a technology layer that supports modern account and payment services. Our platform is designed with a clear focus on:

  • Accounts

We provide access to account functionality and local account details through our regulated partners. Our platform enables users to view balances, track transactions, and manage their accounts through intuitive interfaces designed for both business and personal use.
Payments Our technology supports payment capabilities designed with transparency, reporting, and operational controls. Users can send and receive payments while maintaining full visibility of their transaction history and account activity.

  • Cards (Planned)

Card programmes are intended to be offered through partner infrastructure, subject to required approvals. Card services are planned and will be made available following partner and network approvals. We do not guarantee the availability or timing of card services.

  • Security & Compliance

Our platform is built with security, data protection, and regulatory alignment at its core. We support our partners' compliance requirements through robust identity verification processes, transaction monitoring capabilities, and comprehensive audit trails.

Our Operating Model
We believe in absolute clarity about how services work and who is responsible for what. Our operating model clearly separates three distinct roles:

PEYMO — Technology Platform
PEYMO provides the technology infrastructure that powers account and payment services. Our responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining the platform and user interfaces

  • Building integrations that connect users with partner services

  • Providing reporting tools and operational dashboards

  • Ensuring platform security and data protection

  • Supporting users with platform-related queries

  • Continuously improving the user experience

We invest in technology so that our partners can focus on what they do best: providing regulated financial services with the highest standards of compliance and customer protection.

Our Partners — Regulated Financial Institutions

Our partners are licensed and regulated financial institutions that provide the actual financial services. Their responsibilities include:

  • Issuing and maintaining accounts

  • Holding and safeguarding customer funds

  • Executing payment transactions

  • Operating card programmes (where applicable)

  • Conducting customer due diligence and identity verification

  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with all applicable laws

  • Reporting to the relevant regulatory authorities

  • Handling financial disputes and complaints related to their services

Our partners are authorised and regulated by the appropriate financial authorities in their jurisdictions. They are subject to strict regulatory requirements designed to protect consumers and maintain the integrity of the financial system.

You - The Account Holder

As a user of services provided through our platform, your responsibilities include:

  • Providing accurate and complete information during onboarding

  • Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential

  • Using account and card services in accordance with applicable terms

  • Notifying our partners or us promptly of any unauthorised activity

  • Contacting support when you need assistance

This three-party model ensures that technology, regulation, and user experience work together seamlessly while maintaining clear accountability at every level.

Why This Structure Matters

The separation between technology provision and regulated financial services is not merely organisational - it is fundamental to how modern financial services operate safely and compliantly.

  • Regulatory Clarity

By clearly distinguishing between our technology role and our partners' regulated activities, we ensure that regulatory responsibilities are properly assigned to entities with the appropriate licences and oversight.

  • User Protection

Our partners are subject to regulatory requirements, including capital adequacy, fund safeguarding, and conduct rules designed to protect users. This structure ensures that your funds and data are handled by institutions specifically authorised and supervised for these activities.

  • Operational Excellence

This model allows each party to focus on their core competencies. PEYMO focuses on building excellent technology. Our partners focus on providing compliant, secure financial services. The result is a better experience for users.

  • Transparency

We believe users should understand exactly how services work and who they are dealing with. This operating model provides that transparency, which is especially important in financial services where trust is paramount.

Card Programme Status
We are working with partners and card networks to develop card services for our users. However, it is important to understand that:

  • Card functionality is planned and subject to approval

  • PEYMO is not currently approved by any card network

  • Card programmes will be operated by our regulated partners, not by PEYMO

  • The availability and timing of card services cannot be guaranteed

  • Any card services will be subject to partner terms, eligibility requirements, and applicable fees

We will communicate clearly when card services become available. Until then, references to cards on this website describe planned functionality only.

Security & Compliance
Our platform is designed with security and compliance as foundational principles, not afterthoughts.

  • Customer Due Diligence

Our platform supports robust identity verification and know-your-customer (KYC) processes aligned with partner requirements and regulatory standards. These processes help prevent fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes.

  • Screening Processes

Where applicable, our systems support screening against relevant sanctions lists and politically exposed persons (PEP) databases, as required by our partners' compliance obligations.

  • Data Protection

We take data protection seriously. Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Our Privacy Policy provides detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

  • Operational Oversight

Our platform includes monitoring and control mechanisms designed to detect and prevent suspicious activity. We maintain comprehensive audit trails to support regulatory reporting and investigation requirements.

Ongoing Commitment

Security and compliance are not one-time achievements but ongoing commitments. We continuously review and enhance our security measures, update our processes to reflect regulatory changes, and invest in technology to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Governance & Policies

PEYMO maintains clear governance structures and comprehensive policies to support our partners, protect our users, and ensure we operate to the highest standards.
Our policies include:

  • Privacy Policy — How we collect, use, and protect your personal data

  • Terms of Use — The terms governing your use of our website
